Energetic Reset
Reiki Healing
Soften into stillness. Reconnect with yourself.
Reiki is a Japanese energy practice rooted in the spiritual concept of universal life energy. A session offers unhurried space to rest, receive and bring your attention back to yourself.
Return to the simple experience of receiving
Reiki offers space to step out of the roles you hold and reconnect with yourself. If you are used to caring for others, it can be an invitation to receive attention without having to earn it, explain it or offer something in return.
Rooted in a Japanese spiritual tradition, Reiki works with the concept of universal life energy. The practitioner holds their hands lightly on or above the body. There is no massage or physical manipulation; the emphasis is on stillness, presence and your comfort.
At Atmaya, energetic alignment is approached as a personal experience of coming back to your centre. The intention is to make room for calm, compassion and a sense of connection with your own inner world. You are welcome exactly as you arrive, including on days when stillness feels unfamiliar.
In alignment with you
Atmaya approaches Reiki as an invitation to energetic balance and inner connection. “Alignment” describes your personal experience of feeling more present and at ease, without an expectation of a particular sensation.
The meaning of Reiki
Reiki is commonly understood through the Japanese words Rei, referring to the universal or spiritual, and Ki, meaning life energy. Its spiritual philosophy views wellbeing through the relationship between body, mind and spirit. The practice offers a quiet setting for reconnecting with that sense of wholeness.
Within the Reiki tradition, the practitioner is understood to work with universal life energy. At Atmaya, this is held as a spiritual practice of presence and care. You can approach it with curiosity, a personal spiritual intention or simply a wish to rest in a calm environment.
Gentle presence, without physical manipulation
Reiki is received fully clothed. After a conversation about your intention and comfort, Hina places her hands lightly on or holds them above areas of the body. The touch is gentle, with no massage, stretching or pressure. You can choose an approach without touch and ask for adjustments throughout.
The quiet nature of the session gives you permission to be present without having to explain every feeling. You might remain aware of the room, drift towards sleep or notice thoughts coming and going. There is no task to complete and no need to concentrate on making something happen.
Balance, emotional space and self-connection
People are often drawn to Reiki when they want a nurturing pause during a demanding period. Their intentions may include easing everyday tension, making space for emotions, reconnecting with inner calm or exploring a spiritual practice. In Atmaya’s language, returning to balance means listening to yourself with greater compassion.
Warmth, gentle tingling, stillness or emotion are experiences some people describe. A session may also be uneventful and restful. Neither a strong sensation nor an emotional release is necessary. What matters is your comfort and the opportunity to attend to your own needs.
THE DEEPER SUPPORT
Your session, step by step
Your session, step by step
- Discuss your intention and preferences, including consent for any touch.
- Rest fully clothed as Hina holds her hands lightly on or above the body, according to your comfort.
- Allow time to settle afterwards. Warmth, tingling or quiet rest may be part of the experience; each person responds differently.
What the experience may feel like
You rest fully clothed in a comfortable position, with touch preferences agreed beforehand. You may notice warmth, tingling, emotion or a drifting, meditative feeling. You may also notice very little. These experiences are individual and are not a measure of your openness or progress.
Carrying the experience into your day
Return to your day gradually where possible. A moment of stillness, a few lines in a journal or checking in with what you need can help you carry the intention beyond the session. There is no required emotional release or prescribed response.
THE DEEPER INVITATION
Let yourself be held by stillness
Reiki asks very little of you. You do not have to know what to say, understand why you feel as you do or arrive in a calm state. You are welcomed exactly as you are. Within that quiet receiving, you may begin to notice the parts of yourself that have been asking for care, gentleness or simply permission to stop.
The deeper journey is one of reconnection. As you make space for your own energy, the roles, responsibilities and emotions you carry no longer have to define the whole of you. Reiki becomes a sacred pause in which you can remember your wholeness, invite energy back into flow and return to your life feeling more centred within yourself.
What draws you here?
For when you feel drawn to a gentle, quiet practice and time away from everyday demands.
Can I receive Reiki without physical touch?
Yes. Hands can be held above the body. Let Hina know your preferences before the session, and feel free to change them at any point.
